Alfa Romeo has unveiled the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport, a special limited edition that pays homage to the brand’s illustrious racing history and its first victory in the 1928 Mille Miglia. With only 275 units of the Giulia and 175 of the Stelvio available globally, this collection embodies the pinnacle of performance, design, and exclusivity.
The 1928 Mille Miglia was a milestone for Alfa Romeo, with the 6C 1500 Super Sport, piloted by Giuseppe Campari and Giulio Ramponi, securing the brand’s inaugural victory in the grueling 1,621 km race. Their triumph at an average speed of 84.128 km/h marked the beginning of Alfa Romeo’s unmatched 11 wins in the Mille Miglia—a record that remains unbroken. This special edition honors the legacy of the 6C 1500 Super Sport, a car that redefined motorsport engineering.
For the first time in its 100-year history, the Quadrifoglio emblem receives a bold reinterpretation. Traditionally set against a white background, the iconic four-leaf clover now sits on a black triangle, symbolizing the brand’s contemporary boldness while maintaining its connection to its racing roots.
The Alfa Romeo Centro Stile infused innovation into the vehicles’ exteriors, featuring a widespread use of carbon fiber in the roof (optional for Giulia), grille, and mirror caps. The Giulia boasts 19-inch burnished five-hole alloy wheels, while the Stelvio is fitted with 21-inch variants, complemented by sporty black brake calipers. Both models are available in striking colors, including Etna Red (tri-coat), Vulcano Black (metallic), and Alfa White (exclusive to Giulia).
Under the hood lies a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine delivering a robust 505 hp. Paired with a mechanical limited-slip differential, this setup optimizes torque distribution for unparalleled stability, agility, and cornering prowess. Drawing inspiration from the Giulia GTA, the engineering ensures these models are benchmarks in their class, offering exceptional weight balance, lightness, and driving dynamics.
Inside, the Quadrifoglio Super Sport models feature red 3D carbon fiber trim across the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The front headrests are embroidered with the “Super Sport” logo in red, along with a black serial number, underscoring the exclusivity of this limited series. The leather and Alcantara steering wheel, finished with black stitching and carbon fiber accents, enhances the sporty yet luxurious ambiance.
Both models feature a fully digital 12.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, offering three distinct layouts: Evolved, Relax, and Heritage, with an exclusive Race mode that highlights essential performance metrics like the tachometer, speedometer, and shift indicator. The intuitive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) places all vehicle controls within easy reach, ensuring a seamless connection between driver and machine.
The Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport embody the very essence of Alfa Romeo: a harmonious blend of heritage, advanced technology, and unparalleled performance. By honoring the iconic 6C 1500 Super Sport, Alfa Romeo invites enthusiasts to own not just a car but a piece of automotive history.
As Rakesh Nair, Managing Director of European Brands at Stellantis Middle East, states:
“These models represent the pinnacle of performance and craftsmanship. With their limited global production, they are a rare opportunity for enthusiasts to connect with Alfa Romeo’s legendary legacy.”
